The double murder last January in Carmagnola
IVREA. Alexandro Riccio, the 39-year-old who killed his wife Teodora Casasanta and his son Ludovico, just 5 years old, killed himself in the night between Saturday and Sunday in a prison cell in Ivrea.
Riccio had killed his wife and son in his sleep with several stab wounds and then attempted suicide by launching himself from the balcony of the house.
Hedgehog, according to what has been learned, hanged himself with his sweatpants from a cell rail while his companion was sleeping.
The Prosecutor of Ivrea has opened a file. “Let me get it over with,” the man told the carabinieri who last January 29 had rescued him first in Carmagnola, in the Turin area, after he cut his wrists and launched from the balcony of the house. Shortly before, he had stabbed his wife Teodora, his same age, and his son Ludovico, just five years old.
Behind the violence, according to the investigations coordinated by the Asti public prosecutor, competent for the territory, the decision of the woman to put an end to the marriage. “I’ll take you away with me”, the man’s note that the carabinieri found in the house after the double murder. An intention, that of committing suicide, which evidently the man had not abandoned.
