Eight years for attempted murder aggravated by premeditation
AOSTA. The man accused of attempting to kill the ex-wife’s new partner during an attack in front of the headquarters of the regional council for social policies, in Saint-Christophe, will have to serve eight years in prison.
The thirty-six year old resident in the province of Varese, originally from Colombia, was accused of attempted murder aggravated by premeditation and the presence of a minor.
The prosecutor of Aosta with the prosecutor Francesco Pizzato had asked for a sentence of twelve years and four months in prison.
The attack dates back to October 19 last year, the day when the man and his ex-wife had an appointment at the councilor’s offices to discuss a foster care. The 36-year-old and the ex-wife’s new partner met in the parking lot where the attack with a knife was triggered.
