Hiker found dead in the Clavalité valley

The body spotted during a helicopter overflight

The lifeless body of a man was found Sunday morning in the Clavalité valley in Fénis. The Ansa VdA reports it.

It would be a foreign hiker, possibly Spanish, whose disappearance was reported the previous night by a friend in Chamonix. The man had sent a photograph to his friend around noon, then nothing more was heard of him. Rescuers identified the body during a helicopter overflight in the Lavodilec lake area.
