I recommend Carmen Consoli’s rumbetta from the 1940s in “The things of always”

One of the best records of the year? No doubt? The most beautiful? Maybe yes. Of course, I’m talking about Italian music and this is what I think compared to what has been heard so far in our panorama. Track after track “I wanted to be a rock star” hugged me, heartened me, captivated me, involved. It almost never happens that you listen to a “beautiful all” album by now, but this time it is. The song I chose has this 40s rumbetta that made me fall in love. Perfect.
