The vaccination obligation should apply to persons residing on Austrian territory and the compulsory requirement could start as early as the 14th year of age. In fact, from this age, parental consent will no longer be required to undergo the vaccination.

People who cannot be immunized for medical reasons will be exempt from mandatory vaccination.
