In Friuli, skiing restarts on December 4th: back on the slopes with the Green pass

by admin

UDINE. The Region freezes the prices of ski passes for the next winter season, under the banner of the Green pass and anti-Covid regulations, with the departure scheduled for 4 December.

And so, unlike what will happen in Austria, snow enthusiasts will be able to ski in the poles managed by PromoTurismoFvg at the same prices with which they would have bought the tickets in the unfortunate 2020/2021 when, due to the worsening of the pandemic, they are not, in fact, never been able to use the ski lifts.

The new season

The package imagined by the Region for the next winter season provides for a substantial freeze on fares both for commuters – that is, those who usually use seasonal or daily skipasses – and for tourists – who usually choose multi-day passes or buy coupons directly from the tours. operator – with confirmation of free admission for children under the age of eight and family packages which provide a 30% discount for families (father, mother and children of the children and junior categories) who will opt for a minimum of three tickets.

The same discount will also be valid for season tickets in advance which should be released, exclusively online, around November 20th. With regard to the seasonal that will be purchased before the start of the season, moreover, these, as regards adults, will be sold at 400 euros as well as the price of the daily will remain at 39.50.

“We have made a precise choice – explains the councilor for tourism Sergio Bini – and that is to keep the costs for ski enthusiasts unchanged, unlike what will happen in other places, such as, for example, in Pramollo, with the aim of support families and help a sector tried by last year’s lockout.

Unlike in the recent past, moreover, I asked and obtained that the tariff policies be communicated in advance to give commuters and tourists time to organize their ski trips. It will be a season of safety thanks to the Green pass, given that the certificate will be essential for skiing, and to our ski lifts judged by experts in the sector to be among the best in Europe in terms of modernization ».

The protocol for the restart

The freezing of ticket prices in Friuli Venezia Giulia moves in parallel with the signing, at national level, of the protocol for the reopening of the ski areas and the use of the ski lifts in the resorts and districts by the Italian Winter Sports Federation , of the National Association of Cable Car Operators, of Federfuni Italia, of the Italian Ski Instructors Association and of the National Instructor College, with a substantial “blessing” from the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia.

The protocol provides, first of all, that the ski pass is personal, not transferable with access to the facilities which, as mentioned, will be bound to have a Green pass for anyone over 12 years of age.

It is also requested to increase the online sale of daily and multi-day tickets and within the hubs, routes must be created capable of guaranteeing the spacing of one meter with marked paths for ticket offices, ski lifts and, if possible, lanes separated between entrance and exit.

And if the staff must always wear a protective mask, the chairlifts will be able to operate at 100% of the reduced capacity, however, at 80% if they are used with the closing of the windscreen domes. Finally, gondolas and cable cars will be able to transport skiers up to 80% of their capacity and, during the passenger transport phase, they will also have to keep the windows open to facilitate ventilation. –
