The historian from Moglianese has documented with a photograph (sent to him by his friend Alessandro Giordano) and a post on Facebook, the scene of the man who, to shelter from the cold, found refuge on Saturday night by sneaking into the entrance of the Intesa Sanpaolo headquarters of via IV Novembre.

“It is not a city for the poor – underlines Ceschin. – but it is not even a question of making a small amount of moralism: I was deputy mayor, and I felt uneasy in situations of degradation. I was asking myself the problem of being an administrator, and not being able to concretely achieve objectives despite there being projects; one feels powerless in certain dynamics ».

“These situations are known; I too, a month ago, saw a person sleeping on the ground, in the center of Mogliano. It cannot be only the associations that take care of them: draw on the funds made available by the National Plan for interventions and social services to combat poverty, to get started. When we talk about homeless people, it means that the problems are deeper and it is no longer just a matter of public order “.
