The “Plan” deploys ten key tasks, including building a high-quality and efficient traditional Chinese medicine service system, improving the ability of traditional Chinese medicine health services, building a high-quality traditional Chinese medicine talent team, building a high-level traditional Chinese medicine inheritance protection and technological innovation system, and promoting the high level of traditional Chinese medicine industry. Quality development, the development of traditional Chinese medicine health service industry, the promotion of the prosperity and development of traditional Chinese medicine culture, the acceleration of the opening and development of traditional Chinese medicine, the deepening of the reform in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, and the strengthening of support for the development of traditional Chinese medicine, and 44 major engineering projects in eleven categories have been arranged. .
By the end of 2020, there will be 5,482 TCM hospitals nationwide, 0.68 beds in public TCM hospitals per 1,000 population, 0.48 TCM practitioner (assistant) physicians in health institutions per 1,000 population, 99% of community health service centers, 98% of 90.6% of the township health centers, 90.6% of the community health service stations, and 74.5% of the village clinics can provide traditional Chinese medicine services. The proportion of public general hospitals above the second level with clinical departments of traditional Chinese medicine has reached 86.75%, and the number of registered traditional Chinese medicine clinics has reached 26,000. The ability to inherit and develop traditional Chinese medicine has been continuously enhanced, and clinical research on the prevention and control of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes and other major chronic diseases and major infectious diseases has made positive progress. Researcher Tu Youyou has won the highest national science and technology award, and the traditional Chinese medicine talent training system has continued to improve. , The standardization construction of Chinese patent medicine and Chinese herbal decoction pieces has been solidly promoted, the fourth national census of Chinese medicine resources has been basically completed, and the level of citizens’ health and cultural literacy of Chinese medicine has reached 20.69%. The opening and development of traditional Chinese medicine has achieved positive results, which have spread to 196 countries and regions, and the total import and export trade of traditional Chinese medicine commodities has increased significantly.
