For 35 years, the Cafam Women’s Award has exalted the commitment and great community work of Colombian women who lead actions to benefit society. This year, it will be an even more special edition, since the Award wants to give Thanks to Them, these women who are transformers of environments, an example of love, respect, discipline, dedication and courage.

This year, 183 women applied throughout the national territory, of which – after an objective and participatory selection process – 29 were chosen to represent their departments.

The work of the Casanare candidate, like that of her 28 colleagues, is noteworthy, as it has positively impacted her community, demonstrating her commitment and contribution to the construction of the social fabric, equity and justice, generating benefits tangible in the lives of many people.

On the other hand, in the ceremony that will take place on March 7 at the Cafam Theater, a Special Tribute will be held within the framework of the 35 years of the Cafam Women’s Award. At that time, four women who have been ambassadors, leaders and voice of the purpose of this great initiative will be honored, as they carry with pride and love being Cafam Women, working for their communities, building from the heart and inspiring Colombians with this feeling.
