At the same time, every minute, 43,000 packages across the country flood into the Zhongtong network. For each package, the optimal route is routed by an intelligent algorithm.
“With the circulation of parcels, the digital twin system will simultaneously simulate the transportation conditions of all distribution centers, vehicles, and flights.” Song Bingzheng, director of the routing intelligence department of ZTO Express, introduced that when the original transportation plan is disturbed, the digital twin system can quickly simulate A new sorting and vehicle preparation plan was developed to ensure the timeliness of express delivery.
In the past, the national transportation routes of express companies were fixed, and companies could only passively adjust them manually according to the cargo volume of the routes. In recent years, major express delivery companies have used artificial intelligence algorithms for dynamic scheduling to improve efficiency and ensure timeliness.
