In 2020, INPS paid out over 234,000 early pensions against 195,000 old-age allowances and 1,387 early retirements. This is what we read in the INPS Observatory on pensions in the private sector which confirms the massive use of channels to retire early compared to the 67 years foreseen for old age such as Quota 100. The early channel was used above all by employees, with 161,819 exits before retirement age compared to 100,036 exits due to old age. Among the self-employed workers, 72,959 early retirement pensions were paid against the 95,895 of old age.

INPS: financial management better estimates, deficit 6 billion
The financial management of INPS in 2020 is better than estimated with a deficit of 6 billion compared to the deficit of 15.7 billion expected in October.
