Insider: Xi Jinping draws up a new successor system | 19th CPC Central Committee | Sixth Plenary Session | Beijing | Singapore | The Straits Times | CPC |

[Voice of Hope November 8, 2021](Comprehensive report by our reporter Han Mei)The 4-day Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is being held in Beijing. Singapore’s “Straits Times” (the Straits Times) quoted internal sources as saying that Xi Jinping is preparing to determine a new succession system at the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee.

According to the report, according to people familiar with the situation, the CCP’s historical political instability has always been related to successors. After Xi Jinping broke the old designated succession system, he needed to establish a new system to solve the succession crisis.

An anonymous CCP person told The Straits Times that for Xi Jinping, the old succession system is unreasonable. He is unwilling to let Jiang Zemin, who is 95 years old, or Hu Jintao, who will be 78 years old, decide his successor. At present, the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party have secretly finalized a political succession framework, which is said to be determined before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, although it may not be announced at that time.

According to Xi Jinping’s preliminary framework, he may not only appoint an heir, but will promote more than one next-generation leadership to the Standing Committee at the 20th National Congress of next year to test their loyalty and political sensitivity. The report named five candidates who may be selected by Xi Jinping, namely, Chen Miner, secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Ding Xuexiang, director of the Central Office of the Communist Party of China, Hu Chunhua, vice premier of the Communist Party of China, Li Qiang, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Li Xi, secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee.

The Straits Times also stated that insiders in the Chinese Communist Party believe that Xi Jinping should also accept that people of his age remain on the Standing Committee, because this can divert criticism of Xi’s violation of the principle of staying in office.

The article also quoted sources as saying that after overthrowing Deng Xiaoping’s rules on term limits, collective leadership, etc., Xi Jinping may also deviate from Deng Xiaoping on another major issue, that is, resume and assume the post of party chairman.

The chairman of the Communist Party of China has no term limit, so Xi Jinping can choose heirs at his own pace.

It cannot be ruled out that the above news is an exaggeration in the CCP’s internal struggle. After all, the CCP’s power game has reached 20 critical moments. Hu Ping, honorary editor-in-chief of “Beijing Spring”, recently said in an interview with Voice of America that there is still suspense about whether Xi Jinping can be re-elected smoothly.

Hu Ping said that because of the CCP’s political black-box work, Xi Jinping also can’t figure out how many people oppose him and what conspiracies and tricks the people underneath are doing. Moreover, the CCP recently cleaned up the political and legal system. It also said that Fu Zhenghua and Sun Lijun are still the tip of the iceberg, and even Wang Qishan’s original secrets have been lost. It is said that Wang Qishan’s nephew Yao Qing was also taken away. Obviously Xi Jinping is still pursuing cleaning. , Which shows that he still feels insecure.

Hu Ping emphasized, “The more you clean, the more you make enemies, which in turn increases your own insecurity. Therefore, I think it would be too early to say that he can successfully take over and be re-elected smoothly.”

The critic Chen Pokong analyzed that on the eve of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee, Xi Jinping and the anti-Xi faction had a round of battle, and each lost one person. Among them, Zhao Jincheng, director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Judicial Department of the Jiang Zeng faction, fell from the horse, and he also appeared in public two days before. Chen Pokong said that Zhao Jincheng is a senior official in the standard political and legal system. The recent downfall of this system often involves the assassination of Xi Jinping, Sun Lijun, Fu Zhenghua and other major political and legal cases.

Chen Pokong went on to say that Huang Baokun, the director of the Shanghai National Security Bureau of the Communist Party of China, who was reported by his real name, was a member of the standard Xi family army. Although the superiors and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China ignored the report, Chen Pokong believes that this is still a challenge initiated by anti-Xi forces, and the incident is still fermenting.
