The effects of the pandemic, rising energy prices, wars and other crises around the world have caused International Monetary Fund (IMF) loans to go up in troubled countries, writes the Financial Times. At the end of August, the aid granted by the institute amounted to 140 billion dollars, distributed in 44 different programs.
