[EpochTimesNovember292021]Another senior deputy ministerial official in Jiangxi has been sacked. Gong Jianhua became the fourth “tiger” in Jiangxi after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

On November 29, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that Gong Jianhua, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Congress, took the initiative to surrender suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing review and supervision and investigation.

According to the public resume, Gong Jianhua used to serve as deputy secretary, mayor, and secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. He became a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee in 2014, and then concurrently served as the Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee. In 2015, he served as Secretary of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee. The deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, and later served as the chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions.

Gong Jianhua is the fourth provincial and ministerial official in Jiangxi to fall from the horse after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The Paper reported on the 29th that in Jiangxi’s local political circles, since last week, news about Gong Jianhua’s surrender had spread.

After the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China came to an end (November 11), the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection intensively notified 15 high-ranking officials to be investigated. Two of them were from Jiangxi Province. They were Ye Hualin, the former deputy mayor of Pingxiang City, and Zhou Zhiping, the former vice chairman of the Yichun CPPCC. .

In addition, on November 18, Zhou Caikan, former party secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Construction Engineering Group, and Xiao Yi, former vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, were double-opened. The two were investigated on May 21 and May 10 this year.

According to information on the official website of the Jiangxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, more than 40 officials in Jiangxi Province have been dismissed since the beginning of this year.
