Joey Jordison, former drummer of the American heavy metal group Slipknot, which he founded in 1995 together with percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray, who died of an overdose of morphine in 2010, has died at the age of 46. the musician’s family in Rolling Stone, without specifying the cause of death.
Jordison suffered from transverse myelitis as a result of multiple sclerosis. However, it is not known whether the illness, which had forced him to stop playing, was the reason for the death of Jordison, who had left the band in 2013. In addition to serving in Slipknot, one of the most successful heavy metal groups of the last twenty years old, Jordison had played guitar in Murderdolls and drums in Scar the Martyr.
