But, he adds that ‘the decision rests with the Ukrainian people’
(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 16 – Ukraine does not have the prospect of joining NATO in the near future: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said this, quoted by the Guardian.
“I talked to Volodymyr (Zelensky), again, yesterday. And you know, of course, that I understand what he is saying about NATO and the reality of his position. And everyone has always said, and we have clearly told Putin, that the “Ukraine will not join NATO in the near future. But the decision on Ukraine’s future rests with the Ukrainian people and with President Zelensky, their elected leader. And we will support him.” (HANDLE).
