Nightmare moments for a 49-year-old who was walking near the Hemisphere. They took her smartphone away
VITTORIO VENETO. Assaulted while walking down the street and cell phone robbed. This is what a 49-year-old from Vittorio Veneto reported to the police on Tuesday evening. The woman, SM, was wounded in the face by two robbers armed with a pair of scissors who, misrepresented with a mask and a cap well pulled on, stole her mobile phone.
The alarming episode took place shortly after 9.30 pm in Vittorio Veneto, in the area of Via Alvise Da Mosto, that of the Hemisphere. The woman, according to what she told the investigators, was returning from a walk in the area when, at one point, she was taken from behind by two robbers.
One of the two was armed with a pair of scissors with which he threatened the 49-year-old ordering her to give her everything she had. The woman did not have her wallet with her and out of fear she was forced to hand over the only asset she was in possession of, the smartphone.
There was also a brief scuffle with the robbers who then escaped on foot and soon lost their tracks. Despite the understandable shock of the attack, the 49-year-old Vittorio called the carabinieri who immediately intervened on the spot to help the woman and receive the first brief information on the appearance of the two robbers.
The bandits are said to be two young men who, despite their faces distorted by surgical masks and caps, the woman would be able to recognize. The 49-year-old, in shock, also provided details on the build and the direction of escape of the two attackers, before being treated by health professionals for a face wound sustained in the struggle.
The manhunt in the evening was unsuccessful. But it is clear that the criminals, if they did not get rid of the mobile phone sim card immediately, could also have made such mistakes that they could be identified in a short time.
