Landslides in southern China – flood of the century feared

At least six people have been injured and others buried in landslides in China. Rains caused landslides in six villages in the north of southern China’s Guangdong province, state television broadcaster CCTV reported on Sunday. Citing the local hydrology department, CCTV reported that three locations in the Bei River basin would experience “once-in-a-century floods” due to heavy rainfall.
