Dear readers, when the latest issue of Dein Spiegel arrived in the editorial office, we immediately thought of you. It contained an article that tells in a simple and clear way what the abbreviation “lgbt” means and why sometimes the letter “q” or an asterisk or a plus is added. Above all he says that many people use words gay, lesbian, trans o queer without knowing its meaning well. Or they know it but are afraid of it or worse still use those terms as an insult.
