Li Dazhao came into contact with Marxism while studying in Japan. After returning to China, Zhang Shizhao recommended to Cai Yuanpei, the president of Peking University, to serve as the director of the Peking University Library and concurrently hold other positions. According to the historical data of the Communist Party of China, Li Dazhao worked at Peking University from the end of 1917 to the beginning of 1927. As for the gallows flaunted in the CCP’s brainwashing film, Zhang Zuolin bought it from the United States.
