one of the last because Bako moved to Slovakia a few months ago, where he and Daniel Salontay and Shina recorded the new Longitala Dočista album, completed a tour and it was time to return to London, where he lives and creates. A lot of interesting things about him you can read here.

The first part of the performance belonged to Longital’s old friends, the Ukrainian duo Zapaska. I saw them for the first time and was delighted by the mix of almost folk songwriting and electronics – the beats seem dreamy and tender. After all, the group is often referred to as indie folk or a mix of folktronica with dream-pop. The structures were nicely complemented by the electric guitar, flugelhorn or whistle (also electronically modulated) and when they sing, the voices understand each other very well.
