Look up at the galaxy and build a dream spaceflight! Let’s take a look at the “spaceflight dreams” of the little reporters

Xi’an News Network News On April 24, when the “China Space Day” approached, a small reporter from the Xi’an Evening News walked into the Sixth Academy of Aerospace Engineering and started a wonderful and interesting journey of space exploration. Although the event has come to an end, the seeds of a “spaceflight dream” have been deeply sown in each child’s heart. After the event, the young reporters wrote down their thoughts on participating in the Space Day activities, and talked about their gains and experiences. Parents also expressed their approval of the activity and wrote messages to their children. Aerospace experts also raised high expectations for the junior reporters.

Looking up at the Milky Way and dreaming of spaceflight

On the occasion of the seventh “China Aerospace Day”, teachers from Xi’an Press Media Group carefully planned a study tour to the training center of the Sixth Academy of Aerospace for our “little reporters” group. I am very happy to have the opportunity to participate in this event, and I look forward to seeing the scientific knowledge about spaceflight, such as launch vehicles, Shenzhou spacecraft, space stations, etc., which are mentioned in books and videos.

Early in the morning, my good friends and I came to the meeting point, and everyone was looking forward to today’s event! We have even formed a team in advance, and my good friend Wang Yilin also thought of a name for our team, called “Star Team”. I hope we can shine like the stars in the sky and create our own brilliance.

Today’s event was an eye-opener for me. Through the careful explanation of the teacher for a day, I found that the real aerospace is completely different from what I thought. Take launch vehicles as an example, I have always felt that rocket launches are like cannons, and the rockets are filled with gunpowder. If you need to launch, just like a large sky-moving monkey, it will hit the space with a swipe! However, through the teacher’s demonstration of the physical model, I learned that the rocket launch is very complicated and must rely on a sophisticated engine system to achieve it. And this engine system is composed of many precise structural parts, which must be made by the strict design of scientists. If there is a slight mishap, the rocket may fail to launch. There are many, many more harvests like this today…

The teacher told us that in the past year, it was with meticulousness, courage, hard work, rigor, and some romance that aerospace scientists took us to lift the “Heavenly Harmony”, send the “Tianzhou”, and protect the “Shenzhou”. They recorded the light of the stars for us, delineated the outline of the moon, and ensured the foolproofness of every rocket launch. I am really proud of our country to have such scientists, and I am also sincerely proud of our country’s aerospace industry! I also want to learn from the rigorous and meticulous work attitude of these aerospace scientists, be down-to-earth, step by step, and do everything well, so that my aerospace dream will illuminate the reality in the not-too-distant future!

While learning, thinking on-site interviews to clear up doubts

On the same day, the young reporter also conducted close interviews and questions with aerospace experts, expressed their views, raised their own questions, and obtained the most direct answers, which further deepened the meaning of this trip. Junior reporters Liu Nanxi and Zhang Xinyue from Aerospace No. 2 Middle School thought while studying, and listed a lot of questions. Aerospace experts answered them one by one.

“I’m very proud to see the motherland getting stronger and stronger!” After learning about the development of aerospace, Liu Nanxi sighed, “We will better inherit and carry forward the spirit of aerospace people!” Ma Yufei from City No. 23 Middle School added It summarizes the inspiration brought by the spirit of spaceflight into twelve words “dare to have dreams, be brave to pursue dreams, and be diligent in realizing dreams”.

“I hope you can always keep a heart of exploration”

“Seeing the greatness of China’s aerospace industry, I must study hard and do my part for the great cause of the motherland in the future!” After learning about aerospace knowledge up close, Lei Jiaxuan, a first-year reporter from the University South Road Primary School, even more Determined to study hard. “Come on, boy!” Her mother also hopes that the child can see with eyes, listen with ears, feel with heart, and actively learn new skills. The expectations of parents are also the significance of the research activities carried out by the little reporters of the Xi’an Evening News.

Learn to play, play to learn. In the future, we will also carry out a variety of research activities with different themes. We hope that more young reporters will harvest happiness and growth in the activities!
