by admin

Show starting at 6pm with hundreds of athletes competing. Final with the Running Seven Laps and the international race

FELT. Show challenge. The city re-embraces today the Tour of the walls after a year of stoppage due to Covid, for the last major event of the Feltre summer. Parade of stars with a parterre of Tokyo Olympians, European medals, Italian titles and world appearances for the Running seven laps relay and the international night road race that will close the program.

But the athletics festival also attracts amateurs from all over Italy, brings young people closer to running and assigns the European title reserved for the Fire Brigade.

RUNNING SEVEN LAPS

If the Giro delle mura that closes the program is the king of the evening, the mixed man-woman relay on 400 meters is the queen race, always exciting with the progressive elimination formula. Ten couples at the start. Eyes on the one formed by Gaia Sabbatini, semifinalist in the 1500s at the latest Olympics and very popular on social media (with 286 thousand followers on Instagram) and Yeman Crippa, eleventh in the 10 thousand meters in Japan. From Tokyo to Feltre also Federica Del Buono, who will compete with Simone Barontini, fresh European Under 23 champion in the 800 meters. The Kenyan couple with Vivien Kemboi and Sammy Kipnetich will not be missing, while the home cheer will be for Arianna D’Alberto and Giovanni Santomaso.
