Marsala, an elderly woman robbed at home in the night: thieves immobilize her in bed

MARSALA – An 86-year-old woman, a former teacher, was tied to the bed by thieves who broke into the house during the night, where she lives alone. The thugs surprised her while she was sleeping and immobilized her with duct tape.

Then, they searched the apartment for money and valuables. Not finding, however, much. Only a few euros, a gold chain that they ripped from the old woman’s neck, and a watch. The victim managed to free himself after the thieves left. This morning her son found her in a daze.
