Maxi brawl at the Battipaglia station: 16 complaints – breaking latest news

by admin

BATTIPAGLIA – In the late afternoon of April 27, a fight broke out between two groups of young people that began in the city streets of Battipaglia and culminated in the local train station. The boys fled at the sight of the intervention of the police. The investigations by the Battipaglia Railway Police began, starting with the testimonies of two minors identified at the scene of the fight, who declared that while they were together with other friends in Via Italia, they were attacked by another large group of boys .

The reason for the brawl was a love rivalry: two boys from their respective groups were interested in the same girl. The very young people involved appeared completely unaware of the numerous passers-by, including women and children, present in the very central Via Italia and of the safety of the travelers who were in the railway station. The images of the video surveillance systems present inside the railway yard allowed not only to reconstruct the dynamics of the second fight (the one in the station), but also to document the excesses of the boys, who were completely indifferent to danger, in the excited phases of the collision, they crossed the tracks several times, regardless of the trains in transit and gave rise to a scuffle close to the yellow line, so much so that a young man in the fight ended up on the rails and only the providential intervention of the Polfer agents has fortunately avoided the worse. The 16 participants, 15 minors and 1 adult were all identified and reported for brawl.
