In the past two years, Sichuan and Chongqing have signed 63 strategic cooperation agreements, established 11 cooperation alliances, promoted 107 key tasks and 200 key cultural relics protection projects, jointly held 50 exhibitions and exhibition activities, and implemented the Red Army Cultural Park in Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet District. 9 major projects including Wuhuashan Health and Tourism Resort have completed a total investment of 5.67 billion yuan.

One is to optimize the top-level design of the corridor.Under the existing coordination mechanism for the construction of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, it is proposed to establish a “Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Construction Leading Group”, with the leading group’s office set up in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to plan, coordinate, and advance systematically at the national level. Support the preparation of the “Sichuan-Chongqing Grottoes National Heritage Park Construction Plan” and “Chongqing Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor Construction Implementation Plan”, and increase the guidance for the construction of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor.
