The tombstone dedicated to “Barbier” vandalized: the photograph is in pieces
In recent days, the usual unknown people have broken the photograph of the memorial stone dedicated to Nando Deola, partisan killed by the Nazi-fascists on April 26, 1945. The Anpi has presented a complaint to the prefect
MIANE. It had already happened in February, when three hundred followers of the RSI had gathered at the cemetery of Miane to commemorate the fallen of the Social Republic.
And it happened again in the past few days: someone has broken the photograph of the memorial stone dedicated to the partisan Nando Deola, nom de guerre Barbier, murdered by the Nazi-fascists on the night of April 26, 1945. Barbier, who was part of the Mazzini Brigade, died at the age of 26. The cippus was restored in 2015.
The Anpi has decided to report the disfigurement to the commissioner and the prefect, speaking of a “cowardly and miserable act of fascist origin”.
