[NTD News September 21, 2021, Beijing time]With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Vice Premier Sun Chunlan of the Communist Party of China rushed to Fujian to inspect the epidemic, saying that the prevention and control of the epidemic in Fujian is in a state of stalemate. A few days ago, Fujian and Fujian added a new medium-risk zone, and more medical staff were sent to support Xiamen. According to official reports, more than 190,000 people have left the epidemic area in Fujian and spread to other places, and urgent investigations are being carried out across the country.
On September 20, the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival, Sun Chunlan inspected Zhangzhou City, Fujian to learn about the local epidemic situation and its prevention and control situation. Sun Chunlan said that there is still uncertainty about the epidemic in Fujian and cannot be taken lightly. The prevention and control of the epidemic is the current top priority.
Sun said that the prevention and control of the epidemic in Fujian is in a state of “sticking up against each other”, requiring all prevention and control measures to be “fast and strict”, and community closure and control should be delineated as “encirclement circles”, and nucleic acid testing should be accelerated at the same time.
Prior to this, during the severe epidemic in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, Sun Chunlan visited Yangzhou and ordered strengthened prevention and control. The extreme prevention and control measures taken by the authorities have been intensified. The people are trapped at home, lack of food and money, and miserable, and there have been group protests.
Sun Chunlan’s visit to Fujian this time reflects the grim situation of the epidemic situation in Fujian from the side.
New medium-risk areas in Fujian and China
At present, the epidemic situation in Fujian is still rising rapidly. On the 20th, the Epidemic Headquarters of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province issued a notice to list Changxin Village, Longjuan Township, Anxi County as a medium-risk area from now on.
On the same day, the Quanzhou Epidemic Headquarters in Fujian Province issued a notice that from now on, some areas of Sucuo Village, Chendai Town, Jinjiang City (No. 145-149, No. 213, and No. 230-232, Heping North Road) are listed as medium-risk areas.
According to the Fujian Daily, from September 21, the Fujian Health Code has cancelled the orange code and is subdivided into “red code”, “yellow code” and “green code” in descending order of risk.
The green code means “no abnormality”; the yellow code personnel are not allowed to enter various public places such as hotels, shopping malls, supermarkets, stations, airports, cinemas, KTVs, bars, and special places such as schools, various prisons, nursing homes and welfare homes .
Persons with red codes indicate that they are infected with the CCP virus and must be isolated and treated by designated medical institutions or concentrated and isolated for medical observation at home.
As of September 20, Fujian Province officially notified a total of 367 local positive cases, including 364 confirmed cases and 3 asymptomatic infections. The Affiliated Hospital of Putian University admitted 214 cases, and the Xinglin Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University admitted 153 cases.
There are 191 confirmed cases in Putian City, 147 in Xiamen City, 23 in Quanzhou City, and 3 in Zhangzhou City. In addition, there are 92 children aged 14 and under in Fujian, including 81 in Putian and 11 in Xiamen.
The hardest-hit area of the epidemic-Putian City, Fujian Province added 7 local cases on the 19th, including 3 students and 1 nurse.
In addition, the high-risk area of Putian City, Xianyou County Epidemic Work Headquarters issued a notice again on the 20th, including all areas of the county as a control area, and ordered “no people to leave the area and strictly forbidden to gather.”
Since the CCP has consistently concealed the truth about the epidemic, the outside world doubts that the actual number of infections in Fujian may far exceed the official figure.
Xiamen urgently needs more medical staff in Fujian
Xiamen, Fujian has become the new outbreak center. On September 19, the second round of nucleic acid testing found 27 cases of infection, 26 in Tongan District and one in Haicang District. On the 20th, Xiamen launched the third round of nucleic acid testing for all employees.
The citizens of Xiamen are full of doubts about frequent nucleic acid tests, worrying that crowd gathering will aggravate the spread of the virus. Many netizens complained on Weibo, exposing the overcrowding, shortage of medical supplies and medical staff at the nucleic acid testing site in Xiamen.
A few days ago, the Fujian Provincial Headquarters announced that it has dispatched medical personnel from Fuzhou, Sanming, Longyan, Nanping, Ningde and other cities to reinforce Xiamen, and they will arrive one after another.
At the same time, the Xiamen City Headquarters has dispatched nearly 1,000 medical personnel from other districts to support Tongan District, the hardest-hit area in Xiamen.
More than 190,000 people left the affected area in Fujian
The Fujian epidemic affects the whole country. On September 20, the Fujian Provincial Government held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control. The report stated that as of 19:00 on September 19, a total of 194,628 people in Fujian Province had left the epidemic area and spread to other places.
Officials claim that more than 190,000 people have been quarantined at home, etc., and no related cases have been reported in other provinces and cities. But the outside world is worried that the scope of the spread of the virus will continue to expand.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Fujian, all parts of the country have stepped up investigations. Recently, Ouhai District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and Tiantai County, Taizhou, have discovered close contacts related to the Xiamen patient.
In order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, the two places issued an emergency notice on the 20th to find relevant personnel. At present, dozens of people have been quarantined.
As of September 20th, the country’s 3 high-risk areas are in Fujian, including 2 in Xiamen and 1 in Putian, Fujian; 23 of the medium-risk areas are also in Fujian, including 5 in Xiamen, 14 in Putian, 3 in Quanzhou, and 1 in Zhangzhou. indivual.
