(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 31 JUL – The landings of migrants on the coasts of southern Sardinia do not stop. During the night small boats with 21 people on board were intercepted as they approached the things of Sardinia by the Coast Guard. The migrants were transferred to the Port of Cagliari and were entrusted to the police. They will be taken to the reception center of Monastir (Cagliari), where they will remain in quarantine, with them also the 13 blocked by the carabinieri at dawn after their small boat had landed on the beach of Porto Pino, in the territory of Sant’Anna Arresi.
Ten, including a woman, were instead stopped while they were walking away from the beach, while another three were at the bar having breakfast. Overall, 54 migrants have landed in Sardinia in the last 48 hours. (HANDLE).
