A small boat was intercepted by the Finance Police

(ANSA) – SANT’ANTIOCO, June 14 – The landings of migrants in Sardinia have resumed. A total of 22 arrived yesterday.

A boat carrying 14 men was intercepted by a patrol boat of the Air and Naval Operations Department of the Finance Police near Capo Sperone. The hull was escorted to the port of Sant’Antioco, in southern Sardinia, by the yellow flames. The migrants were then entrusted to the police and carabinieri.

Also yesterday evening eight men were stopped by the municipal police of Domus De Maria, in southern Sardinia, as they walked along the road. The 22 migrants were transferred to the first reception center in Monastir (Cagliari). (HANDLE).
