The fatal accident occurred at midnight and a half, between Saturday and Sunday, on the East ring road of Milan, in the section between the Lambrate and Cascina Gobba exits, heading north. The 41-year-old, a former employee of the Humanitas hospital in Rozzano, found herself in front of a stationary car and a motorcyclist on the ground. She instinctively stopped to give first aid. But as soon as she got out of her car, the woman was hit by a Mercedes driven by a 65-year-old, who was unable to avoid the impact.

Warned by several phone calls, the agents of the traffic police and the 118 men arrived on the spot. The doctors took care of all the injured on the north roadway. The motorcyclist, a young man of 26, was transferred to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza for trauma to the limbs. The man who was driving the car hit by the centaur was instead transferred to the San Raffaele hospital in green code, also with a bruise in his leg. Criticism, however, immediately appeared the conditions of the 41-year-old who had stopped to provide help. The 118 crew attempted to stabilize her and keep her alive at the crash site, so they transferred her to the Niguarda hospital. But the 41-year-old, with a reserved prognosis, was unable to overcome the complications due to the violent impact. The 65-year-old woman who hit her was also taken to the hospital, at San Raffaele, in a state of shock and with a trauma to the chest. She is not in danger of life.
