Some of the boys were identified who attacked a plainclothes officer of the Milan local police on the night between Friday and Saturday. Among them, explains a note from the Municipality, there were “some adults traveling to Milan and coming from outside the region, at least one from Bolzano”. The patrol of the local plainclothes police was on Saturday night, around 1:45 am, in the Viale Coni Zugna area for a normal information control service.

In the previous days there had been reports of vandalism on parked cars. One of the agents, 61 years old, explained by the Municipality, was noticed by a group of boys while taking pictures and they approached him and surrounded him. He qualified and fired “a shot in the air to get them away” uselessly, because while tried to get back into the car he was “attacked by some” of them who tried to take the weapon out of his hand while – you can see in the video – he said “look it’s loaded, morons, look it’s loaded” before a second blow to the ground was fired. The boys manage to disarm him and kick him. In the meantime, the second agent alerted the Operations Center and two patrols arrived on the spot. The group escaped by throwing the weapon under a parked car. Investigations started immediately and identified some of the group, made up of a dozen young people. Among them are some adults traveling to Milan and coming from outside the region, at least one from Bolzano. And in fact, in the video you can also hear German. «The local Police, in contact with the Judicial Authority – let the Municipality know – is acquiring all the video evidence, testimonials and any further element that emerged to arrive at the identification of the whole group.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, during the video session of the City Council of Milan, the mayor Giuseppe Sala will report on the New Year’s violence against some girls who have been attacked by a large group of boys (at the moment two young people are under investigation, the 18 year old Mahmoud Ibrahim and 21 year old Abdallah Bouguedra.
