Minister of Natural Resources Lu Hao is accused of not being reused | Li Keqiang | Tuanpai

[Epoch Times, June 24, 2022]Lu Haotuan, Minister of Natural Resources of the Communist Party of China, has been transferred to the party secretary of the National Research Center, which belongs to a think tank. Some analysts believe that it has not been reused.

The official website of the Development Research Center of the State Council of the Communist Party of China (abbreviated as the National Research Center) revealed that Lu Hao, Minister of Natural Resources, was appointed Secretary of the Party Group of the National Research Center on June 23.

Lu Hao, 55, a native of Shanghai, graduated from Peking University and studied under the famous economist Li Yining. He is Li Keqiang’s younger brother. At the age of 35, Lu Hao served as the deputy mayor of Beijing, becoming the youngest deputy ministerial-level official at the time. At the age of 41, he became the first secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League and the youngest ministerial-level official. After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he was transferred to the Governor of Heilongjiang Province. After 2018, he was appointed as the Minister of Natural Resources, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, and concurrently as the Chief Inspector of National Natural Resources. He is the current member of the Central Committee.

Hong Kong’s “Email” pointed out that, as a general of the Communist Youth League, Lu Hao was transferred from the “top leader” of the State Council to a think-tank as a leader.

Officials from the Communist Youth League were once popular in the CCP officialdom. The first secretary of the Communist Youth League Central Committee before Lu Hao, Li Keqiang, Hu Chunhua and Zhou Qiang, were all officials at or above the deputy state level.

However, two years after Xi Jinping came to power, he repeatedly made remarks criticizing the Communist Youth League, such as “highly paraplegic” and “don’t imagine being a successor”. At the same time, the Communist Youth League was accused of “organization, administration, aristocracy, entertainment” and other problems.
