The governor of Casanare, César Ortiz Zorro, led an inspection visit to the works of the Tertiary Roads Recovery Plan. The president toured the municipalities of Hato Corozal, Pore and Trinidad accompanied by the Secretary of Infrastructure, Álvaro Rivera, deputies Alejandro López and Juan Fernando Mancipe, representatives of the audit office and communities.

The objective of the visit was to closely supervise the work that is being carried out, a crucial initiative to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, support farmers, boost tourism and boost the regional economy.

Maintenance will arrive in La Chapa

In Hato Corozal, they met with the communities of the Santa Rita, San José, La Argentina and La Florida districts, where progress is being made in the stabilization of 10 kilometers of the 40 km programmed for this area. Ortiz Zorro announced the additional intervention of 10 kilometers between La Florida and La Chapa, through self-management, thus consolidating a road corridor that will not only improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, but also the production of farmers.

In Pore, in the company of Mayor Jorge Garzón, the progress was inspected in the areas of Agualinda, La Curama, La Mapora, Matalarga, La Macolla, El Banco, Bocas de Pore, La Sequi and Altamira, where 20 kilometers will be intervened.

The day in Trinidad included a meeting with the inhabitants of the San Pedro and Paso Real villages, where a tour of the 20 kilometers of improvement in these sectors was carried out.

“I come to personally monitor the tracks. The first message I tell the contractors is that not a single peso of Casanareños is lost,” said Ortiz Zorro.
