Ministry of the Interior trained Community Action Boards in Casanare

In alliance between the Ministry of the Interior and the Community Development Directorate of the Government Secretariat of Casanare, a day of technical and legal assistance in inspection, surveillance and control was held for the Community Action Boards.

The event was held at the International University of the American Tropics, Unitrópic, and had the active participation of the Office advisor and Presidential Coordinator of the Communal Action Group, Nicolás Gutiérrez Bermúdez, who highlighted the effort with which the leaders of the region defend the rights of the community.

“The crossing of databases and the updating of figures from the community leaders in Casanare will allow us from the Presidency of the Republic to respond more pertinently to the requests made from the region,” emphasized the Ministry of the Interior official.

In turn, Jessica Avella, director of Community Development, stated in this regard that “these trainings are essential. Thanks to these spaces, our officials and public servants expand their knowledge of regulations and the correct application of the technical elements at their disposal. It is very valuable to show that the Presidency is constantly seeking to guarantee full compliance with the duties and rights of our leaders, and of the communities they represent.”

The meeting will contribute significantly to the strengthening of public policies implemented in Casanare for the benefit of communal organizations.
