In his most recent visit to Cesar, the Minister of Transportation, William Camargo, delivered the 120-meter road in footprint in the Pereira village, jurisdiction of the municipality of La Paz.

According to the Ministry, this is the first work of the ‘Community Roads’ program in the department, carried out with the Community Action Board (JAC) of that territory.

“With the support of Invías we strengthened its technical capabilities, we benefited approximately 700 families and generated more than 800 jobs,” indicated the national government entity.

According to official information, in Cesar there are 16 Total Peace Community Roads agreements with community boards in 7 municipalities, with an investment of nearly $3.2 billion, with approximately 90% execution of the road works.
