TAKE ADVANTAGE of post-pandemic recovery plans to give an important boost to sustainable mobility, with consequent positive social, economic and environmental impacts: this is the goal set by Spain and Italy with the Global Mobility Call, presented in Rome at the residence of the ‘Ambassador of Spain to Italy.

The Global Mobility Call will be held in Madrid from 14 to 16 June, will be organized by Ifema Madrid and Smobhub, and will be sponsored by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma). A global congress that will bring together more than 7,000 international leaders in their respective fields to promote policies and initiatives on sustainable mobility and attract support and investment for new projects. A pioneering event that aims to contribute to the post-pandemic economic and social recovery and to enhance energy resilience in the face of international shocks, exploiting the sustainable development opportunities presented by the European Green Pact and the NextGenerationEU funds.
Moreover, as Alfonso Dastis, ambassador of Spain to Italy and San Marino pointed out, the links between Spanish and Italian companies on the renewable energy, logistics and mobility front, as well as cooperation between institutions, companies and research institutes has always aroused the interest of third markets, and this – specified the Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility of the Italian Government, Hon. Alessandro Morelli – makes it particularly desirable to promote alliances between partner countries in order to be more competitive in the production of new generation vehicles and structures.
