It is Commissioner Paolo Molinario who directs the municipal police command of Ivrea after commander Alberto Pizzocaro, since last May 17, went to direct the police of Venaria Reale. For 33 years in service in Ivrea, Molinario, born in 1963, last June 1st he was appointed pro tempore until the end of this year. A temporary and obligatory choice for the municipal administration considering that by law in the next 6 months Pizzocaro must be guaranteed the possibility of returning to his old office.
Molinario, who had applied to fill the organizational position in the next 6 months, was chosen for the experience gained over the decades and for the professional and organizational aptitudes and skills required for the position to be filled. Molinario will also be responsible for civil protection.
What will happen after December 31st is still too early to say. The Municipality, which for this intermediate period has chosen to enhance the figures within the municipal police force, could draw on external mobility or hold an ad hoc public competition. –
