Regardless of the weather conditions, more than 320 thousand Salvadorans abroad arrived at the different voting centers, installed by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), to fulfill their right to cast their vote.

The ambassador of El Salvador to the United States, Milena Mayorga, highlighted the massive participation and response of the diaspora in this electoral process that took place on February 4.

According to the diplomat, the more than 320 thousand compatriots placed their trust in the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, who has ensured the rights of Salvadorans abroad and the safety of their families.

It should be noted that, as of this Thursday, February 8, the final scrutiny of the presidential election, which is about to end, reveals that the Nueva Ideas candidate, Nayib Bukele, has obtained more than 2.5 million votes, with more than 87.7% of the minutes scrutinized.
