MOTTA OF LIVENZA. Yet another fatal accident on Monday afternoon around 5.30 pm, this time in Motta di Livenza: a 61-year-old from Annone Veneto, Franco Zorzetto, lost his life.
The drama took place in via Case Brusade, a continuation of via Riva Livenza. The man was proceeding with his scooter in the direction of Motta-Corbolone, when for reasons under reconstruction by the carabinieri who intervened on the spot, he went off the road alone.
The scooter crashed into road signs, the scooter flew into the roadside ditch and the motorcyclist died instantly.
The Treviso emergency helicopter got up from Treviso, an ambulance and a medical car were sent, but there was nothing for him to do.
