Prosecutor Verbania presented new investigative documents
(ANSA) – TURIN, 28 SEPT – The discussion of the appeal of the Verbania prosecutor’s office on the position of two of the suspects in the investigation into the disaster of the Mottarone cable car was updated tomorrow by the Turin Review Court, in which, on 23 last May, 14 people died. The initiative, according to what has been learned, will allow the defenses to examine some of the new material deposited by the chief prosecutor Olimpia Bossi.
New elements were in fact presented by the Verbania Public Prosecutor’s Office in support of the request to recognize serious indications of guilt, in the Mottarone disaster, against the plant manager, Luigi Nerini, and the operating manager Emilio Perocchio. It was learned at the Palazzo di Giustizia in Turin where the discussion of the appeal presented by the chief prosecutor Olimpia Bossi against the release of the two suspects ordered by the Gip Donatella Banci Buonamici on 29 May began at the Court of Review. The material, deposited on Friday, consists of a series of testimonies acquired by the investigators in the summer. (HANDLE).
