After the alarm, return to the Po valley. French hikers
(ANSA) – CUNEO, 07 AUG – Two mountaineers are stuck at 3,450 meters on the east face of Monviso, in Crissolo. After the alarm went off about an hour ago, the fire brigade helicopter is intervening in the area.
During the night, around one o’clock, still in the Po valley, two French hikers had sounded the alarm after getting lost in the area of the Monviso massif, near the Andreotti bivouac, at 3,250 meters above sea level along the southern route. The firefighters have set up a rescue station at Pian del Re and at dawn the two tourists return alone. (HANDLE).
