CAMPOFORMED. Don Luigi Zuliani passed away. Originally from Bressa di Campoformido, he would have turned 94 on 21 June. The funeral will be celebrated on Friday 20 May in Bressa.
Born in 1928 in Bressa di Campoformido, Fr Luigi Zuliani was ordained a priest in 1959 for the religious family of Don Bosco’s Salesians. For many years he was a missionary in China and Hong Kong, lands from which he returned to Friuli only in 1978. In that same year he was incardinated in the diocesan clergy of Udine. He was appointed parish priest of Vissandone, a ministry he carried out until 1983. He then became parish vicar of the Udine Cathedral of S. Maria Annunziata, simultaneously with the post of hospital chaplain at the “Gervasutta” institute in Udine.
