The Pro loco Castionese is ready for the traditional early summer party: the start on Friday 18, Saturday the Jpm, on the 23 Tirataie on the 25 the Maci ‘mobile

CASTION. The edition of the post-Covid revival del Campanot bites the brake waiting for the green light that will start today with the first scheduled events. In the meantime, however, the Pro loco della Pieve Castionese can already smile, thanks to the many volunteers who, little by little, have come together to make possible the realization of the most important festival of the Belluno summer.

“We have more or less equalized the large numbers made before Covid as regards volunteers. The right movement is being recreated among young people, even if we clearly have to be ready to favor generational turnover “, explains Alessio De Min, vice president of the Pro loco di Castion, which takes care of young people within the association,” not it is just a question of Covid, there may be less fortunate periods, but we are working hard and we are managing to gather new recruits. When we see our festival return, then, I’m sure there will be an even greater push ».

The great work of the Pro loco management made it possible, in a few months, not to give up on any of the most popular events of the Campanot: “Despite a delayed departure due to Covid, in a few months we managed to organize an edition like those pre-pandemic and we are very satisfied with this “, continues De Min,” during the meetings we asked ourselves if it was appropriate to focus on something softer for this restart, but in the end we decided that it would make no sense not to do things in a big way and in full Campanot style. In addition, the festival will be the first with doors truly open for two years now ».

Another merit of the great summer event of the Pro loco Castionese is to focus heavily on the green aspect: “All the dishes and cutlery that will be used during the festival will be washable and reusable”, adds De Min, “nowadays it is no longer conceivable not to keep I also consider this aspect and Campanot wants to be absolutely in step with the times ».

THE PROGRAM

Campanot 2022 will be held from today 17 to 26 June and will bring to Castion a highly respected program, including music, sports and excellent dishes: “Never had so many registrations for football and volleyball tournaments”, adds De Min, ” for the latter, however, there are still some vacancies. Then there will be our super kitchen, in collaboration with local restaurants and there will also be our beloved concerts. Even at the level of structures we did not want to touch up anything, confirming the main tent and the two stages for the concerts ».

Among the most anticipated dates on a musical level there are certainly Saturday 18 with the concert of Jpm and Saturday 25 with Maci’s Mobile. There will also be evenings dedicated to smooth and Latin music. While, as regards the Tyrolean evening of 23 June, with a change in the run of 10 and praise, in place of the unable Gibierfest band, our very popular Tirataie will take the stage.

Among the most particular events, the possibility of a free balloon flight on Saturday 18 to 18 in collaboration with the Abvs, the “caret” race on Sunday 19, the fitness activities in collaboration with the Squash club (always Sunday 19 from 9 to 13) and the story of Castion’s liberation in 1945, Thursday 23 to 18.
