The theme of this exhibition is “Innovation-driven development towards a strong country in science and technology“. It includes not only the basic frontiers, major scientific and technological projects, strategic high-tech, social people’s livelihood, agricultural and rural scientific and technological innovation, but also major achievements in regional innovation and scientific and technological systems. The latest developments and outstanding achievements in reforms, construction of scientific and technological talents, open cooperation in science and technology, and popular science.
Among them, facing the world‘s scientific and technological frontiers, it will focus on major breakthroughs in basic frontiers such as the “Nine Chapters” quantum computing prototype, decrypting aging, and heavenly brain chips, as well as scientific devices such as the spallation neutron source and the “wisdom eye” satellite. Facing the main economic battlefield, it focuses on displaying the national new-generation artificial intelligence open innovation platform, the “Jinghua” domestic largest-diameter shield machine, and the direct production of high-value chemicals from coal via synthesis gas. Facing the major needs of the country, the focus will be on displaying the Chinese space station model, the Mars rover, the Chang’e-5, and the Struggle all-sea deep manned submersible. Facing people’s lives and health, it will focus on displaying integrated whole-body positron emission/magnetic resonance imaging equipment, unmanned plant factory rice breeding accelerators, etc., as well as the latest scientific and technological anti-epidemic and technological achievements of the Winter Olympics.
The scene also showed the achievements of the construction and development of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Technology Innovation Center, the National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, and the National High-tech Zone, as well as the latest developments in the reform of the scientific and technological system, the construction of the talent team, the open cooperation in science and technology, and the popularization of science. .
