NATO troops in Ukraine lead to World War III

Emmanuel Macron’s proposal is playing with fire

Macron’s proposal to send NATO troops to Ukraine is extremely dangerous. The USA and Germany have still rejected this proposal, although it is clear that there are American and British personnel on Ukrainian soil.

French President Emmanuel Macron had proposed sending NATO ground troops to Ukraine. But at the meeting of NATO/EU government representatives, this proposal was rejected. Macron explained that this idea should not be ruled out. It also became known that the USA and Great Britain probably have military personnel in Ukraine, and there are probably some French people there too.

For Col. Douglas Macgregor, these are dangerous steps that could result in escalation. Emmanuel Macron’s statements are effectively declarations of war on Russia. The Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin have repeatedly pointed out that sending NATO troops to Ukraine is a de facto declaration of war on Russia.

But it is also a fact that almost all NATO countries, including the United States of America, have officially rejected Macron’s proposal. Germany also rejected this proposal.

Another question is whether and to what extent Ukraine is supported by Western experts in the use of its drones, cruise missiles, etc. by Western personnel.

For Macgregor it is clear that an escalation in which Russia is forced to send its medium-range missiles to European targets must be avoided at all costs. There is insufficient protection. Europe would be at its mercy.
