Ceremony for the delivery of the recognition plaque to the municipal police students of seven municipalities in the Canavese area
IVREA . Perfect and formally flawless ceremony that of Friday 11 in the courtyard of the Pier Alessandro Garda civic museum for the delivery of the recognition plaques to the student agents belonging to the commands of Borgaro, Bosconero, Germagnano, Ivrea, Nole Canavese, Settimo Torinese and Volpiano who have completed the attendance of the 86th regional course for newly hired local police officers.
The event was organized by the commanding officer of the municipality of Venaria, Alberto Pizzocaro (commander of the local police force of Ivrea until the middle of last May), by the commander of the municipal police of Nole Canavese, Marco Ortalda, and by the deputy commissioner of the command of Ivrea Danilo Lano.
“We are here today to sanction the final act of a training course that will shortly lead these young people to become operational in their offices – underlined Alberto Pizzocaro – and it is for all of us a party that we celebrate with respect for distance and safety”. Alongside Pizzocaro was Paolo Molinario, acting commander of the Ivrea local police, who completed the significance of the event: “The age of all those who have passed this training course is very young and this means renewal in great part of the local regional police structure. A new lymph will be at the service of the public, a service at the base of which the concept of proximity remains fundamental, that is, a close and direct relationship with the citizen ».
In the presence of the civil and military authorities and the families of the students, the guard of honor paraded on the stage carrying the Italian flag to the notes of the national anthem sung by the squad of new agents under the orders of Deputy Commissioner Lano. The mayor Stefano Sertoli then welcomed the representatives of the guest municipalities: «Thanks for organizing this event and a warm welcome to the new agents. In our city, the recent handover between Alberto Pizzocaro and Paolo Molinario took place without repercussions on the efficiency of the service and I believe this is a clear sign of the importance of teamwork within the local police force ». One by one eleven new agents paraded on stage to receive the plaque from an authority representing their municipality. Pizzocaro delivered the distinctive coveted to Sergio Guglielmetti it’s at Chantal Francesca Tumelero, which will become part of the city staff. “I have always been fascinated by the role of the police in the service of the people, which is why I studied competitions until I managed to enter the command of Ivrea,” said Guglielmetti. The other students who received the plaque were Oscar Sergi for Borgaro, Marco Fenu for Bosconero, Valentina Macchioni for Germagnano, Matteo Ponzani e Mirko Di Benedetto for Nole Canavese, Mauro Cusanno for Settimo Torinese, Gloria Capolongo, Silvia Cavallari e Simone Chitti for Volpiano. After giving the order to break the lines, Deputy Commissioner Lano briefly defined the spirit of the day: “Today was an important moment in the professional life of colleagues and we wanted to underline it at the end of a decidedly demanding and selective path” .Paolo Airoldi
