The CCP might be afraid that foreigners would not be able to read it. At the same time, it issued a warning in English, stating that it is forbidden to sail ships into this area within a specified period of time.
The well-known Vietnamese military journalist Duan Dang posted a map of the CCP’s exercise scope on Twitter yesterday (4th), pointing out that the CCP’s exercise scope in the South China Sea reached 100,000 square kilometers. He said “it is the largest range I have ever seen.”
However, today (5th), Duan Dang sent out another message in a tweet, and found through the ship signal tracking website that the US military’s ships had already started the first action. The USS Victory marine exploration ship appeared within the scope of the exercise announced by the CCP.

The U.S. and China’s successive super-large military games are tit-for-tat

In fact, the CCP’s military exercise, anyone with a discerning eye can see, was an action taken by the United States on the “Large-scale Exercise 21” naval military exercise that began on the 3rd.
This US military exercise is very large, spanning 17 time zones and covering multiple sea areas in Europe, Africa, and Asia. It is the largest military exercise since the Cold War.
However, as soon as the US military conducted joint military exercises, within three days, the CCP announced that it would hold large-scale military exercises in the South China Sea. This large scale is also very rare in the history of the Chinese Communist military. “Global Times” editor-in-chief Hu Xijin said, “The Chinese military exercise is a response to the US transoceanic military exercise.”

Three situations coexist, the CCP will force the overlord to bow?
The term “global military situation” means that the CCP may follow the plan for military exercises. Regardless of whether the “Victory” leaves or not, the CCP army will conduct live-fire exercises.
Is it really like “Global Military Intelligence” put it like this? How will it develop next? There are three possibilities here.
The first is that the US “Victory” leaves the scope of exercises designated by the CCP, and the CCP conducts military exercises within the designated scope. If this is the case, it means that the United States is backing down.
The second is that the “Victory” does not leave the scope of the exercise set by the CCP. The CCP has to narrow the scope and avoid the “Victory” to conduct military exercises. If this is the case, it means that the CCP is backing down.
The third is that the “Victory” does not leave, while the CCP forces military exercises as planned. If this is the case, then the military confrontation between the United States and China will be unprecedentedly tense, and may even lead to conflicts.
Theoretically, there are all three possibilities. By about 3 p.m. Eastern time, it had already passed the time set by the CCP. But I didn’t see any further news, and I don’t know what happened.
Forcibly encircling the high seas, the CCP provokes the United States?
However, analysis shows that although the third situation cannot be ruled out, it is unlikely. That is to say, the possibility of intensifying military confrontation and even conflict between the United States and China is relatively small.
I have analyzed before that many of the CCP’s actions that seem to be directed at the United States are actually for people in China. Including the CCP’s “East Rise and West Fall”, “U.S. Decline,” and so on, they are all for people in the country to listen to and see. It makes people feel that it is not counseled, and it is still very powerful. However, in reality, the CCP is strong in foreign countries and does not dare to have a head-on conflict with the United States. I have made an analogy: a dog that bites does not bark easily, and a dog that barks does not dare to bite.
So, which one of the first two situations is more likely? Let’s take a look at the “Global Military Intelligence” article to capture some information from it.
The article mentioned that the “Victory” is currently “still” sailing in the restricted navigation zone set by the CCP. It also said that the “Victory” has never stopped in the South China Sea and has been sailing around the Paracel Islands for a month. However, the article also stated that the “Victory” has not violated China’s territorial waters and has always been in international neutral waters.
The article also stated that the United States often provoked the CCP’s military exercises. Prior to the live-fire military exercise in the northern theater, the United States sent U-2S high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft to conduct reconnaissance operations over the restricted area.
It can be known from the article on “Global Military Intelligence” that the “Victory” has always been operating in the international neutral waters near the Paracel Islands. The word “still” has already reflected the facts. In the international neutral waters, that is, the high seas, ships of any country can sail freely on the high seas.
In other words, the “Victory” sailed normally on the high seas for at least one month. But yesterday (4th) the CCP forcibly delineated a range here to hold a large-scale military exercise. And this range set by the CCP happens to encircle the high seas where the “Victory” is located.
If this order is clarified, we will generally know where the “li” is. People have been here all the time, and then you come, draw a range on the high seas, and say, “This is my site, and none of you are allowed to come here.” Is there a first come first come? Isn’t this a rogue robber?
The US military U-2S high-altitude reconnaissance plane went to conduct reconnaissance during the military exercise in the northern theater of the Chinese Communist Party mentioned in the “Global Military Intelligence”. We also talked about this incident at the time. That was on August 25, 2020. The U.S. U-2S high-altitude reconnaissance plane flew over the CCP exercise. After that, the CCP protested again and made solemn representations, but in the end there was no answer.
Why is there no following? Because the scope of the CCP’s military exercise was also very large, most of it was within China’s territorial waters, but some of it was in the connected high seas. The U.S. reconnaissance plane flies over the high seas, so the CCP’s protests and negotiations will not yield results.
The situation of the “Victory” this time is similar to that of the U-2S high-altitude reconnaissance plane, but there are also differences. Last time, the CCP first delineated the scope, and then the U-2S high-altitude reconnaissance plane went there. The actions of the U.S. reconnaissance plane can be said to be conventional actions of the U.S. military on the one hand, and on the other hand, it is true that the provocation cannot be ruled out.
This time, the “Victory” has been performing missions on the high seas, and then the CCP circled here. To put it bluntly, in a certain sense, the CCP is provoking the US military. So in this case, which party will give in? Let’s just watch the show.
Zhengzhou will be closed?Daily increase of 15 risk areas
Next, let’s look at the epidemic in Zhengzhou. Xi Jinping said on July 21 that “there will be a major epidemic after the disaster”, it seems that this situation has already occurred in Zhengzhou.
Today (5th) Zhengzhou City added 15 new epidemic-risk areas. As of 12:00 local noon, Zhengzhou has a high-risk area-Jingguang Road Street, Erqi District, 21 medium-risk areas; in addition, there are 16 closed areas.
The local media in Zhengzhou stated that “medium-risk areas have been expanding. Today, a new containment zone has been established. If the epidemic cannot be controlled, Zhengzhou will not be ruled out.”
Under the tension of the epidemic, the Zhengzhou authorities issued Announcement No. 14 to carry out the second round of nucleic acid testing for all employees throughout the city, and explicitly ordered that sampling be completed today and tomorrow. All residents are required to bring valid documents such as ID cards and scan the code to register and sample to ensure that one household or one person is not missed. And all residents are required to “not go out unless necessary” before the results come out.
In fact, Zhengzhou City just ended the first round of nucleic acid testing for all employees yesterday (4th). Among the 11.18 million people, in addition to the 2 infections detected in the initial single sampling and single inspection row, 99 people were also screened for confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections.

Today (5th), “The infected nurses of the Sixth Hospital of Zhengzhou participated in a wedding banquet for 800 people” was topped by a hot search on Weibo, which was read by more than 140 million people.
According to Weibo, Nurse Liu from the Sixth Hospital of Zhengzhou attended the wedding at Yunyanxitang Hotel on July 20. According to the wedding couple, the size of the wedding banquet that day was 800 people, and they were trying to help the disease control personnel find the guests who had close contact with Nurse Liu.
The bride of the day told the Beijing News that 80 tables were prepared for banquets with a table for 10 people, but some were not full. On the same day, she and her husband did not toast at the table, but stood on the stage to toast together. The bride said that she had inquired about her friends, and so far she has not found Nurse Liu’s close contact, and the account does not show Nurse Liu’s seal.
However, the hotel staff recalled that if they were there temporarily, they might just register a surname without a photo, so it was difficult to confirm.
Judging from the trajectory of the infected nurses, the number of people involved is quite large and the coverage is relatively wide. A wedding banquet for 800 people, plus 50 hotel staff, at least 850 people may have direct and indirect contact with Nurse Liu that day. Vaccine effectiveness is discounted, experts foresee terrible situation
Netizens exclaimed, on the one hand, because of the large number of people attending the wedding, 800 people at a time may be at risk of being infected. The other is that the virus raging in Zhengzhou is also a Delta variant virus. This virus has a very strong spread, about 50% higher than the original Wuhan virus strain.
John Volkens, professor of environmental health at Colorado State University, points out that the delta virus “is easier to enter cells.”

Zhang Zhan was sentenced to 4 years in prison on December 28 last year, because she went to Wuhan to investigate the truth of the epidemic and was retaliated by the authorities.
The second item is a lawyer’s card. Regarding the issue of lawyer’s license, among the rights protection lawyers in mainland China, many have been revoked by the CCP. Let’s take Wang Quanzhang as an example. He was arrested by the CCP for 4 years and 6 months because he was acting as an agent of rights protection cases and speaking for the people.
After he was released from prison, Wang Quanzhang tried to appeal, but the CCP blacklisted him and refused to accept his unjust case. Wang Quanzhang wants to continue to help people who need legal aid to defend their rights, but he is unable to represent cases because he does not have a lawyer’s certificate.
The third object is a calligraphy work, which reads “All the people resist and return the government to the people”, and the signature is “Fang Bin’s book”. This is easier to understand. Fang Bin is the warrior who went to the hospital to take real pictures at the initial stage of the outbreak in Wuhan. When he was shooting, 8 bodies were found within 5 minutes.
Because he exposed the real situation, he was arrested by the local police. Before being arrested, he publicly shouted out this sentence, “The whole people resist and return the government to the people.” But since he was arrested, there has been no news of Fang Bin from the outside world. I don’t know if he is well, and we need everyone to pay attention to it.
The fourth object is a car. My analysis may be that the author used a car to refer to the innocent lives drowned in Zhengzhou Jingguang Road Tunnel and other places. The author said, I hope these four objects can remind people, “Don’t forget them.”
The second painting looks more intuitive and is about the scene in Zhengzhou. The author of this painting is under the pen name “Hunter”. Friends in Taiwan should know that this is a well-known cartoonist who often contributes to the “New Taiwan Electronic News”. Now “Hunter” has also specially created such a work to participate in our “True China” call for paintings.
There are some people standing in the flood on the screen, and ordinary people are crying bitterly. But the two CCP soldiers in military uniforms and guns in front of them raised their eyebrows at these weeping people, and yelled at them: “How many people died when there was a flood once in five thousand years? Why?!”
Behind the two soldiers, cars of all kinds, large and small, were piled up together. Obviously, this is the tunnel entrance of Jingguang North Road in Zhengzhou, which is called the “car cemetery”. When the CCP was draining waterlogging, these cars floated out of the tunnel and stacked on top of each other.
These dead people are the relatives and friends of the people who weep bitterly. According to the CCP’s final report, 302 people died in Henan Province, and only 6 people died in the Jingguang North Road Tunnel. We don’t know how many dead people the CCP has concealed.
