Leader Kim Jong-un attends the event held on the night
(ANSA) – BEIJING, 09 SEPT – North Korea held a military parade during the night to celebrate the 73th anniversary of its foundation in the presence of the leader Kim Jong-un, confirming the advances given by the South Korean military.
The official agency KCNA, in announcing the event, did not mention the parade of armaments, one of the factors of greatest attention. The Rodong Sinmun, the ‘voice’ of the Workers’ Party, has published various photos amidst fireworks and Kim waving to the crowd and troops alongside his closest collaborators such as Jo Yong-won, deputy of the party’s general secretariat.
