Two weekly frequencies scheduled until October 30: Monday and Saturday
OLBIA. From today 19 June the Costa Smeralda airport of Olbia is connected with Florence. The flight operated by the Vueling company landed at 12.35, to welcome the team of Route Development Geasar, who paid homage to the crew with Karasardegna products.
The new route is part of the expansion strategy of the Spanish carrier, which for the summer of 2021 has decided to focus on Italy and the domestic market. Olbia-Firenza will have two weekly frequencies, on Monday and Saturday, and will be operational until October 30th.
“From today we officially kick off the summer season – comments Charlotte Dumesnil of Vueling – With the new route we not only facilitate connections to one of the most popular summer destinations for Italians and foreigners, but we also support the restart of tourism in Italy”. During the summer, Vueling will also connect Olbia with Barcelona, the company’s hub and strategic stopover, which allows those departing from the Gallura city to easily reach many other destinations.
